He did his BDS and MDS from Dr R A dental college. At present he is the prof and HOD of Dept of conservative dentistry , Buddha institute of dental sciences. Under his guidance more than 70 postgraduates passed out in the last 14 yrs. His passion is aesthetics dentistry. Has multiple presentation in both National conference and local IDA conference. Has trained many postgraduate students from different colleges like Babhu banarasi dental college, Lucknow, Bhu , kalyani AIIMS, Modern dental college, bhopal etc. He was also the runner up in ivoclar national aesthetic competition. He regularly conducts workshops in composites in kolkata . Has been the scientific chairperson in 2 National conference held in Kolkata.
